Hunger Action's Line links people in need to food through local pantries or soup kitchens in all sixty-seven Pennsylvania Counties. Clients just need to call this number and state their zip code.

PHILADELPHIA CORPORATION FOR AGING: Coordinates services for older adults including home-delivered meals and on-site meals. 215-765-9000
AID FOR FRIENDS: Provides meal delivery to isolated, homebound elderly. 215-464-2224
SUPER CUPBOARDS: Provides emergency relief with a 6-8 week curriculum of basic nutrition-related living skills. There are a number of super cupboards throughout the city. 215-471-2205 or Cathy Appleton at 215-732-1842
FOOD STAMP PROGRAM HOTLINE (Pa. Hunger Action Center)
1-800-634-2033: Provides Information on Food Stamp Eligibility. If client is eligible, they will send them an application.
GUILD FOOD STAMP CLINIC (Clinic Run by Penn Law School Students) 215-523-9502. Reopens today, January 19, 2001. Hours are probably from 1-4pm. Students help clients who are having problems with receiving Food Stamps or if Food Stamps have been reduced or terminated.
